19-year old point guard Thierry Darlan (198-PG-2004) had a great game in the last round for Bangui Sporting Club and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat City Oilers (#4, 1-3) 101-88. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Bangui is placed at 3rd position in Basketball Africa League. Bangui is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-2 record. Darlan just recently signed at Bangui, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Darlan has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.5ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 10.5rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 66.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Khaman Maluach (217-C-2006) of City Oilers Kampala. He is South Sudanese center in his first season at City Oilers. In the last game Maluach recorded an impressive double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as City Oilers lost that game 88-101 to slightly higher-ranked Bangui (#3, 2-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. City Oilers still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory City Oilers managed to get this year. Maluach is one of the most experienced players at City Oilers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.0ppg (#2). He also registered 13.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Pierre Jackson (180-G-1991, agency: Slash Sports) of league's second-best Al Alhy Benghazi. Jackson showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Ahly Benghazi, leading his team to a 93-71 easy win against #3 ranked Bangui. Ahly Benghazi needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Jackson has a great season in Basketball Africa League. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.8apg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Patrick Rembert (185-PG-1990) of City Oilers - 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists
5. Kevin Murphy (197-G-1990) of Ahly Benghazi - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
6. Solo Diabate (183-PG-1987) of Ahly Benghazi - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. (213-C-1994) of Ahly Benghazi - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Majok Deng (205-F-1993) of Ahly Benghazi - 20 points and 8 rebounds

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
